It's no secret that it's going to be cold during Sunday's Vikings-Seahawks game at TCF Stadium. The NFL is saying that it might actually be one of the coldest Vikings games in history. Weather forecasters are predicting a zero degree day with a nine below windchill.

So, you bought tickets. You know it's going to be freezing. Here are some tips to keep yourself from freezing to death.

1. Don't go to the game. Sell your tickets to some other sucker and watch it from the comfort of your warm home.

2. If option one is out of the question for you, make sure you dress in layers...and that your layers have layers--long underwear, two...even three pairs of socks, snow pants, mittens that go under your gloves, a few shirts, sweat shirt, winter coat, a hat to wear under your hat. Whatever you'd normally wear in the winter outside, make sure you put three of that on your person.

3. It's absolutely vital that you bring a blanket with you. I'm not talking about a couch throw blanket or tie blanket either. I'm talking about comforter size blankets--I'd bring three. According to Viking's rules, you have to be able to carry your blanket in on your shoulder.

4. Hand warmers. I would suggest seat warmers as well but according to their policy, you're not allowed to bring in any seat cushions.

5. Buy warm drinks and warm food--skip the snow cones and ice cream. There are many stands that sell hot chocolate. Check out this link for the full stadium food and beverage menu by section.

6. If you're not a hot chocolate fan, I'd drink lots of beer. The alcohol will at least make you feel a little warmer.

7. Sell your tickets and watch the game from home. After going through this entire list...it sounds like the easiest option! Good luck staying warm and GO VIKINGS!"
