Kevin Garnett is returning to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves sent Thad Young to the Brooklyn Nets in a trade this afternoon, just before the NBA's trade deadline. The Wolves drafted Garnett back in 1995, and he subsequently spent the next twelve years of his career in Minnesota.

The Timberwolves eventually traded Garnett to Boston in 2007. To complete today's trade from Brooklyn, Garnett had to waive his no-trade clause.

Kevin Garnett might be just what the doctor ordered for the young Minnesota players; someone to look up to, emulate, and learn from.

The Timberwolves host the Phoenix Suns tonight at 7 PM at the Target Center.

Go Wolves!
