Having said that, here are the scenarios that would have the Vikings clinching a playoff berth this weekend:

1. If the Vikings beat the Giants, they're in (win or lose next weekend in Green Bay).
2. If Seattle beats St. Louis this week, the Vikings are in (win or lose against the Giants).
3. If Carolina beats Atlanta this week, the Vikings are in (win or lose against the Giants).
