Thomas Rhett is one of the latest young musicians to break into the country music scene, and he's doing pretty well for himself. He has a new single 'Something to do With My Hands' that is climbing the charts, a new video, and a killer spot on one of the biggest tours of the summer - did I mention he's only 22?!

Rhett has spent some time on stage opening for Blake Shelton, Pat Green, and Brantley Gilbert, but none of those gigs compare to the one he scored for the summer. Rhett will be opening for Toby Keith on his 'Live and Overdrive' tour. Again...did I mention he is only 22?! Wow, what an accomplishment.

When Rhett was in high school (what was that, 2 minutes ago...) his favorite artist was Eric Church, " ... who's always been a huge influence in the way that I write music and play"  Rhett recently said of the 'Springsteen' artist. I would be surprised if his father wasn't also a bit of an influence in his music - seeing that he is hit songwriter Rhett Akins.

Toby Keith's summer tour kicks off June 14th in Salt Lake City, Utah and will be making an appearance at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes on August 3rd. Check out Thomas Rhett's video for his first single 'Something to do With My Hands'.
