I always love the Missed Connections that involve seeing someone at a restaurant. I figure if you have the time to sit down, eat and stare at someone, you should have the time to build up the courage to at least say hi. Now I get that this woman was with another man - so that can be dicey. But if you truly felt like she wasn't "with" him, you should have taken your chances! Here's how the Missed Connection should have been written:

Last Saturday I went to China Star Buffet, and saw a woman with dark hair with another man and a baby. I did not get the impression that she was with the man as a couple, so I am hoping they were just friends or possibly related. However I couldn't help but notice how beautiful the woman was, and if you happen to notice me as well I would love to get to know you better!

I completely left out the "asking for a picture" part of the thread - mainly because women don't like being berated about pictures. I also left out the "you won't be disappointed" because in all fairness, she probably would be disappointed.
