Join supporters of the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center on Saturday, October 13th for their 3rd annual Running HOME for Jacob. This is a day for community, hope and prevention as we all come together to end child maltreatment in all forms. In addition to the children's race and the 5K run/walk, there will be an 11K which will highlight each of the 11 for Jacob traits at every kilometer. All races will be chipped for time and medals will be awarded at the finish line! HOME stands for Hope for Our Missing and Exploited and extends to all those missing and exploited. The goal is to raise awareness to the issues of safety, prevention and a unified goal to create a world where kids can grow up safe!

This event is all about highlighting safety and prevention in our community while supporting the families who continue to seek answers,

- Jane Straub, Victim Assistance Specialist.

All proceeds from this event are used to support JWRC’s mission in getting prevention education information out into communities and serving client families.
