The State of Minnesota has revoked 39 personalized license plates following a review of more than 98,000 vanity plates issued by the state. The review was sparked when a plate reading FMUSLMS appeared on social media earlier this year, before the Department of Public Safety revoked it.

Minnesota law prohibits any words or combination of letters that are of an obscene, indecent or immoral nature. How any of these, along with FMUSLMS, made it through the system in the first place is baffling to me. Here are the 39 that have now been revoked (and yes, some made me laugh):

  • BDSM
  • BEANER
  • BEANER2
  • BJFMLF
  • BUSANUT
  • CAMLTOE
  • CUBTCHS
  • DATASS
  • DATA555
  • DEZNUS
  • DZNUZ
  • EFNGONE
  • EFN7PIN
  • ESTLTFU
  • FNA
  • FNMUSLE
  • FNRODD
  • FUBP
  • FUDEER
  • FUA
  • GETBENT
  • GOTNUTZ
  • NONUTS
  • NONUZ
  • OHSHEET
  • PNTYWGN
  • REDSKIN
  • STFU
  • SUMBCH
  • TARBABY
  • TARBBY
  • TBAGGR
  • T1H5TA3
  • URBTCH
  • URGSPT
  • WTRAH
  • WYTRSH
  • SHEEIT

The owners of the above plates are getting replacement plates for no fee. The State of Minnesota probably feels a little stupid for letting these through in the first place. WTFMN? :)
