A new study claims there is no such thing as comfort food.  Are you kidding me?

The study was conducted at the University of Minnesota and used volunteers who knew exactly what their go-to comfort food was.  They were shown movie clips that were designed to evoke all kinds of different emotions.

The results, according to a Newser article, indicated that the volunteers did not feel better any faster after having eaten their comfort food.

Well, there goes my excuse for eating the whole container of Oreos or ice cream!  I think it's all in your head -- like if you want to talk yourself into being happier after eating terrible food, you will be.

What's your favorite comfort food?
