The Weekender is full of comedians. Steve-O, Adrian Washington, and C. Willi Myles will all be performing this Saturday in St. Cloud. The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra also has a performance this weekend featuring the Great River Chorale, and another special guest. A groundbreaking hit duo are playing the violin at Saint John's University, and the artwork of area high school students will be on display.     Steve-O Featuring Adrian Washington

    River's Edge Convention Center - St. Cloud

    Steve-O from MTV's hit reality series Jackass is coming to the St. Cloud River's Edge Convention Center. This 18+ show will feature hit local comedian Adrian Washington. This isn't his first time opening for Steve-O, having done a show with him in Odessa Texas. Steve-O's started hitting the stage with his stand up comedy back in 2001 with his "Steve-O Don't Try This At Home Tour", and now has "Steve-O's Entirely Too Much Information Tour". The show features the stand-up comedy of the reality TV star, as well as stunts and bar tricks. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $30, and available at ticketfly.com.     America's Everyday Comedian returns to the Paramount Stage for the annual April Fools Day Show. The former St. Cloud State University Assistant Football coach, C. Willi Myles has traveled across the country entertaining people with his non-offensive comedy act. He has toured with Aretha Franklin, Bill Cosby, Louie Anderson, Ray Charles, and many more hit stars. His latest DVD, "Yea, I Said It", was recorded live right here in St. Cloud while performing at the Paramount Theater. This upcoming show will feature his current comedy tour, "The Line In The Sand". Tickets are $20.

    St. Cloud Symphony Eternity

    Ritche Auditorium - Saint Cloud State University

    The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra has a performance this weekend directed by Clinton Smith. This performance will also feature the Women of the Great River Chorale during "The Planets, Op. 32" by Gustav Holst. The orchestra will also be performing "Morning to Night - A Ride of Emotions"  by Mitch Manthe, and "O del mio amato ben" by Stefano Donaudy featuring the 2015 Young Performers Competition Winner, Albert Boldt, who will be singing during the performance. There will be a pre-concert discussion starting at 6:30 p.m with Clinton Smith. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $5 for students. The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra's next performance will be "1954 In America" on May 2nd.

    Black Violin

    Steven B. Humphrey Theater - Saint John's University - Collegeville

    Black Violin breaks all the rules of music combining classical, rock, hip-hop, blues, and R&B. Wilner "Wil B" Baptiste and Kevin "Kev Marcus" Slyvester are classically trained violin and viola players. The duo played together in their high school orchestra in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Now a decade after starting Black Violin the two play around 200 shows per year, and have contributed to multiple music icons. They even played for President Obama's Inaugural Ball and the Kids Inaugural in Washington D.C. They released their second album, "Black Violin Classically Trained" last year, and were also named one of the Top Five New Bands at the South by Southwest Music and Media Conference.     35th Annual High School Exhibition and Competition

    Paramount Theater Lobby & Studio C

    Visual Arts Minnesota presents the 35th Annual High School Exhibition and Competition. There will be a reception held tonight (Thursday) starting at 6:00 p.m. with the awards ceremony at 7:00 p.m with director of Visual Arts Minnesota, Natalie Ratha. The jurors of the competition and guest speaker David Ruhlman will also be on hand during the event. The High School exhibition will be on display through April 18th in the Paramount Lobby and Studio C. It will feature 2D and 3D artwork submitted by students, grades 9th - 12th, from Central Minnesota. Awards are given in eight categories of oil/acrylic painting, watercolor painting, 2D design, sculpture, ceramics, photography, drawing, and jewelry. This event is free and open to the public.
