The fun continues this weekend with Pioneer Place holding a musical tribute to Talking Heads, The St. John's Boys' Choir performing their final concert, a three day music and camping festival in Richmond, and the St. Cloud Rox host their home opener at Joe Faber Field.     St. Cloud Rox Home Opener

    The 2016 season has begun for the St. Cloud Rox and they want you to join in the celebration. The team's home opener is Saturday against the Thunder Bay Border Cats.  World Series Champion and Minnesota Legend Terry Steinbach will be throwing out the ceremonial pitch. Post-game fireworks will follow the final out. Tickets are about $10. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

    The 90's Revolution: Blind Melon, Vertical Horizon and Tonic

The 90's Revolution show featuring the trio will start at 7:00 p.m. You will hear such songs as Change, Everything You Want and If You Could Only See. Tickets range from $35 to $45.

    Bluegrass lovers can spend the next three days enjoying old-time stringband and acoustic music. The Minnesota Homegrown Outdoor Music and Camping festival kicks off tomorrow (Friday). Twenty area bands will take the stage this weekend. Showtimes run 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Tickets can be found at the gate and vary on the day. If you're staying the whole weekend tickets are $60.

    You can catch a high energy performance talking the stage Saturday night at Pioneer Place.  Slippery People will be performing a Tribute to Talking Heads music, spanning the band’s entire catalog.  You’ll recognize songs Like “Burnin’ Down The House”, “Girlfriend Is Better”, “Wild Wild Life”, “Road To Nowhere”, “Psycho Killer”, “Take Me To The River.” Slippery People, now in its 7th season, is comprised of some of the Twin Cities’ most dynamic and experienced performers and their front-man Scott Allen is a Sauk Rapids native. Tickets are $19 in advance and $22 at the door.

    Make a Joyful Noise

    Collegeville

    The St. John's Boys Choir will be holding their final performance of the season Sunday. The concert features a special alumni chorus and orchestra, bringing to life some of their favorite musical selections over the past 35 years. Tickets are $16 for adults, $12 for seniors (60+), $12 for students, $5 for children (ages 5-12). The performance will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Saint John's Abbey Church.
