    Pioneer Place Theatre Company presents Same Time Next Year. This play ran for four years on Broadway, and lead actress Ellen Burstyn won a Tony Award for this role. It has also won a Drama Desk Award, and was an Outstanding New American Play nominee. Now Pioneer Place Theatre Company is bringing Same Time Next Year to St. Cloud. The play follows Doris and George who, although they are married, meet up every year on the same weekend for 25 years. Manners and morals are hilariously played out in this romantic comedy. It starts this weekend, and runs through February 22nd. Tickets are $22 for adults, and $18 for students/seniors.

    High School Plays

    St. Cloud Tech High School presents three one-act plays. Slices of Americana has two showings this weekend. The three one-acts include 'The Cover of Life' by R.T. Robinson, 'Double Date' by Florence Ryerson, and 'Anatomy of Gray' by Jim Leonard. They plays will be held in the South Auditorium at Tech High School. Tickets are $6 for adults, and $4 for students.

    Light in Winter

    The Central Minnesota Watercolorist will be on display at the Great River Arts Main Gallery in Little Falls. All of the work is from members of the Central Minnesota Watercolorist group. The exhibit is already underway, and will run though February 28th. There will be a closing reception on Saturday, February 28th from 12:00 p.m. through 2:00 p.m. Great River Arts is open Wednesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    The music departments from Saint John's University and the College of Saint Benedict presents Pastiche, a music group comprised of the faculty. They will be holding a performance this weekend in the Escher Auditorium on the College of Saint Benedict campus at 7:30 p.m. Pastiche performs a wide variety of music from instrumental to vocal from all time periods. They say it's always different, and it's always enjoyable. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors/students/youth, $7 for faculty/staff/students at CSB/SJU.     Harper's Chord will be performing as part of the Granite City Folk Society's performances at BoDiddley's on 25th. Jill Moore, Paul Drinkwine, and Roger Fink just released their first full-length CD called "Natural Bridge". CLICK HEREto see video from a show at Great River Arts in Little Falls. The music from "Natural Bridge" has a grass-roots feel with songs that seem to tell stories of personal journeys. Tickets are $5 at the door.
