ST. CLOUD — There is no shortage of fun things to do around Central Minnesota this weekend. You can enjoy the Freaky 5K in Sartell, the All Saints Academy Halloween Carnival, A Choral Community at SCSU, the musical Halloween Spooktacular at SCSU and the Night of the Round Table musical event at Pioneer Place. Freaky 5K
Sartell Middle SchoolWho says you have to go trick-or-treating to wear your Halloween costume. Enjoy a family friendly activity for all ages with the Freaky 5K. This Halloween themed race invites you to wear your favorite costume as you walk, run or roll through the course. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. with the 1 mile run at 9:00 a.m., the 5K at 9:30 a.m., and the Kids fun ran at 10:15 a.m. Prices for each race range between $15-$25. You can sign up on race day or call 320-251-7272.

Halloween Carnival
All Saints AcademyBring the kids and get your trick-or-treating started early Saturday in Waite Park. All Saint Academy is hosting their annual Halloween Carnival at their Waite Park Campus (108 6th Avenue North). Ticket's for games and food are just .25 per ticket, with proceeds going back to the school. The fun runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and don't forget to wear your costume.

A Choral Community
St. Cloud State UniversityThe Youth Choral of Central Minnesota is holding their first concert of the season this weekend. The groups annual "A Choral Community" celebrates the breadth and diversity of choral music in Central Minnesota. You will get to see a number of performances from the St. John's Boys' Choir, Cantabile Girls' Choir and the St. Cloud Area Singing Saints Barbershop Chorus. The performance is on Sunday at Ritsche Auditorium on the SCSU campus. Tickets for the show are $12 for adults, $7 for seniors and students and kids 8 and under are free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.

Halloween Spooktacular
Ritsche AuditoriumEnjoy the musical styling's of the St. Cloud State Wind Ensemble and Campus Band at Ritsche Auditorium tonight (Thursday) for their “Halloween Spooktacular.” Children in costume and their families are invited to pre-concert activities of music, games and Halloween treats beginning at 5:30 PM in the lobby. Admission is free but donations will be accepted. Showtime starts at 6:30 p.m.

Night of the Round Table
Pioneer PlaceIt's the musical event to check out in the St. Cloud area tonight (Thursday) as the Veranda Lounge host The Night of the Round Table concert series. The monthly series features a variety of musicians performing great music and stories. This weeks musical talents include Charlie Roth, Leon Laudenbach and Randy Mickelberg, who each provide their own swing on things. The concert is free to attend and starts at 8:00 p.m.
