    Movies in the Park

    Sartell

    Grab your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a late night movie under the stars tomorrow (Friday).  Movies in the Park picks up again this summer at Pinecone Central Park in Sartell. Dr. Seuss' the Lorax will be the featured film starting at 8:45 p.m. In case of rain, the showing will be at Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School.

    Forever Everly: Tribute to the Everly Brothers

    The Chanhassen Dinner theatre pays tribute to The Everly Brothers this weekend. The duo combined their voices for a distinctive harmony that was wrapped around some of the finest songs of the early rock era. The show features a full band taking turns singing song from the legendary duo. You will hear hits like: "Bye Bye Love," "Wake Up Little Susie," and "Let It Be Me."     Flight of the Conchords

    Orpheum Theatre

    Grammy Award-winning folk comedy duo Flight of the Conchords (aka Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie) makes their return to the U.S. tomorrow (Friday). The “Flight of the Conchords sing Flight of the Conchords Tour,” is their first since 2014 and the duo is back with new material, which they’ll showcase exclusively at these shows. Tickets range between $40-$60.

    Wild West Show

    El Rancho Manana Campground

    Travel back in time and see what life was like in the old West this weekend. The Wild Creek Entertainers will be holding their 8th Annual Wild West Show at El Rancho Manana Saturday. The show features stage coach and pony rides, Western Costume Contest, gun fights and live music. Levi Pelzer will be performing live during the evening dance. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. You can get your tickets at the gate or at NAPA stores in St. Cloud and Richmond.

    Lady Slipper Nature Ride

    Avon

    See the Minnesota State Flower in full bloom this weekend along the Lake Wobegon Trail. The 5th Annual Lady Slipper Nature Ride will take you to the St. John's Arboretum, as well as finding natural beauty in Avon Hills. The ride is meant as a leisurely journey and enjoying the beauty of nature. The event is a free will offering for riders 7 and up and free for kids 6 and under.
