ST. CLOUD — We have your weekend guide to some fun things to do around Central Minnesota this weekend for you and your family. Grab your bikes and head to Lake George for the Kiwanis Bike Parade, support Tanner's Team with their Strike Out Cancer event, head to Pioneer Place for two great shows featuring Carnivale Revolver and the Basement Tapes, and support your local law enforcement in Sauk Rapids at the 1st Responder's Event.     Bike, Trike, Wagon Walk and Roll Parade

    Lake George

    Grab your bikes, trikes, wagon or wheelchairs and make your way to Lake George this weekend for the 3rd annual St. Cloud Kiwanis Bike Trike Wagon Rock and Roll Parade. Children of all ages are welcome to join in the parade and are encourage to decorate their bikes or trikes for the parade. Materials will be available to decorate prior to the parade or they can come already decorated. The St. Cloud police department and the Kiwanis Club will provide free bike helmets for all children who attend. There is even a drawing to win one of four bikes. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning with the parade at 10:30 a.m.

    Strike Out Cancer

    Sauk Rapids

    Deck out in pink and head to the ballpark tonight (Thursday) for "Strike Out Cancer Night" in Sauk Rapids. The Storm will be taking on Sartell in their last home game of the season. The game is meant to raise money for cancer. The team will be wearing pink jerseys which will be auctioned off and well as selling T-shirts for $10. All proceeds will go to Tanner's Team Foundation. The JV game starts at 5:00 p.m. with the varsity game to follow at Bob Cross Park. All fans are encouraged to wear pink.

    The Basement Tapes

    Pioneer Place

    A special band paying tribute to Bob Dylan is coming to Pioneer Place tonight (Thursday). The Basement Tapes will be reliving some of 1967's most recognized musicians and songwriters and their music on stage. This group is here for one night only so much sure you get your tickets now. Tickets are starting at $22 in advance and $25 at the door. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.

    1st Responder's Event

    Sauk Rapids

    Come out and support your local hero's this weekend in Sauk Rapids! Viking Land Harley Davidson is holding a special First Responder's Event to all areas of emergency services from all three counties. It's a family friend event and your kids can check out police cars, fire trucks, the SWAT Truck and see K-9 demonstrations. They will even have shirts and food for sale with proceeds going to the new COP house. There will even be music by the Rockin Rolliewoods starting at 4:00 p.m. Admission is free and it starts at 9:00 a.m.

    Carnivale Revolver

    Pioneer Place

    St. Cloud's premier burlesque revue is coming to the Pioneer Place stage this weekend. Carnivale Revolver has been hailed as “jaw-dropping” with acts including burlesque, sideshow, comedy, cabaret, and live music! There is even a few special guests scheduled to make an appearance. Tickets for the show are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Showtime starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
