    The Music of Meat Loaf

    Relive the rock and roll days by rocking out to Meat Loaf at Pioneer Place this weekend. Meat Loaf has thrilled audiences for nearly 40 years with the music from this iconic album. After the sold out show in January, the gang is back to bring you songs from the entire Bat Out of Hell album and many other favorites. The show also features many special guests. Tickets are $28 in advance and $32 at the door. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.

    Enjoy the acoustic sounds of country music star Alan Jackson as he makes his way to Grand Casino Hinckley tomorrow (Friday). For more than 25 years Jackson’s music has featured the hopes, dreams and values of everyday people with hits like “Remember When,” and “Drive.” Tickets are going fast and range between $45-$100. Jackson takes the stage at 7:30 p.m.

    Shrek the Musical

    Cold Spring

    Come see one of Dreamworks classic movies be brought to life on the stage in Cold Spring with Shrek the Musical. The show is about an oger whose home is invaded by Fairytale creatures and to get it back must rescue a princess, who he falls in love with. The show kicks off the 25th Anniversary of the Great Norther Theatre Company. Tickets are $17 for adults, $13 for seniors and $10 for students. Show runs today (Thursday) through Sunday.

    Rollies Redneck's and Longneck's

    A great outdoor music event will be going on at Rollie's this weekend. The Bellamy Brothers will be performing Sunday night. The gates open at 3:00 p.m. with opening act the Shane Martin Band. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the gate. You can get your tickets at Rollies or by calling 320-255-0912. The Bellamy Brothers take the stage at 6:00 p.m.

    Woodwind Trio

    Munsinger Gardens

    Cap off your weekend with another great concert series by the Mississippi River. Music in the Gardens returns Sunday and features the Woodwind Trio. Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and meet near the Gazebo. Showtime starts at 3:00 p.m. and the concert is free. The Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society will again sell those fabulous $1 root beer floats.
