The ‘Best Burger in Minnesota’ Hails from Minneapolis

The team at Mental Floss criss-crossed the U.S.A. in search of the best burger in each of the 50 states. And their chosen winner from the Land of 10,000 Lakes is none other than the '112 Cheeseburger' created on demand at the 112 Eatery in Minneapolis.

It's $12 so it better be good. Mental Floss describes the 112 Cheeseburger as:

Taking the traditional cheese-and-patty sandwich to a new level. Its ground beef patty, mixed with butter, eggs, onions, and a variety of seasonings, is served below a pile of gooey, melt-in-your-mouth brie.

Being that Minnesota is home of the Juicy Lucy -- I would have guessed somewhere like Matt's Bar or The 5-8 Club in Minneapolis, or The Nook or Blue Door Pub in St. Paul. (All worth trying by the way.)

The 112 Eatery is located in the historic Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis.
