AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION IS LOOKING FOR YOUR HELP

The support received last year in donations from individuals helped scientists develop new medicines that fight heart disease, update guidelines for strokes and high blood pressure, and publish new research for genome editing.  That's a lot of things supported by donations!

But this year....#GivingTuesday didn't go quite as well as expected.  The American Heart Association was short of meeting their goal of raising 2,300 individual donations – or one for each life lost to cardiovascular disease in a day.

Donations will help fund more education and support and also help find new approaches for preventing cardiovascular diseases.
