The 2012 Vote! Where’s Your Polling Place, Who’s On Your Ballot
UNDATED - Where do I vote? What's going to be on my ballot? Those are the two most common questions about the election that we get here at the radio station.
Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie says you can get prepared to vote, by visiting a special website -- mnvotes.org.
Ritchie says the website also has links to the candidate's websites, and information on the amendment questions.
Most polling locations will be open tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7:00 a.m., all locations will stay open until 8:00 p.m.
Minnesota has had a history of close elections in recent years. So, are we heading for another recount this year? Ritchie says, he hopes not, but his office is ready -- if it's necessary.
He says it's not unusual to have a recount in a few of the State House and Senate races. Polls are also showing a close vote for the marriage amendment, as well as a few of the Congressional races.
