Just days after wrapping up her U.S. Red Tour, Taylor Swift turned up on the red carpet in Los Angeles for the world premiere of 'Romeo and Juliet,' a film starring Swift's good friend Hailee Steinfeld. The singer came sporting a new hairstyle, posing for cameras before entering the screening.

In the few days she had off between her final North American date of 2013 and her trip to L.A., the 23-year-old remade her look. Her long blonde locks are pulled into soft curls, and the striking bangs that framed her face for much of the past year are now side-swept into a fringe. Perhaps it was all just too much to handle. Swift was mostly seen wearing her hair up in recent weeks, prior to stepping out with this new 'do.

Steinfeld plays Juliet next to Douglas Booth's Romeo. The actress and the singer walked the red carpet together and sat next to each other during the movie screening. USA Today reports that Swift was among the first to stand and cheer after the film's credits began to roll. Earlier, she and her security detail made quite a splash on the red carpet.

"We have been talking about her coming to this forever," Steinfeld said on the red carpet. "I have been wanting to show her the film for so long."

"The fact she came out tonight means so much," she added.

After the event, Swift attended a party at the Soho House in L.A., where the two girls stayed up way past their bedtimes.
