Tater Tot Hotdish Cook-Off Gets Ugly In Tracy, Minnesota

When I read the story, I thought it was someone trying to be funny. But the story of the tator tot hotdish cook-off minus the Minnesota Nice, is true!

The whole idea of the cook-off started with a challenge between a guy named Bruce Wahl and one of the founding members of the PPP. Here's where it got ugly:

Bruce found out that his hotdish would not be going up against just one other hotdish as in the past. Instead, every member of PPP made a hotdish for the contest. So, Bruce didn't show up for the contest. HOWEVER, his ex-wife entered the contest and won first prize. When Bruce found out his ex-wife won, he claimed she used HIS recipe. That's when Minnesota Nice went out the window. Uff-da.

The Pelican Pontoon Pussycats (PPP) of Tracy, Mn are hosting the 14th Annual Tator Tot Hotdish Cook-off on Sunday. Someone will win the coveted trophy, a Mr. Potato Head.
