World Cancer Day

I would be mighty shocked to meet someone whose life has not been touched by cancer.  At the very least you know someone who is battling.  Having watched several people fight and lose, it takes courage and a strong will to live.

Today is World Cancer Day, and according to the CDC, 7.6 million people will die from cancer this year. On October 22, 2002 I was diagnosed with stage-3 colon cancer; it's been eleven and-a-half years now. Screening and early detection saves lives. Simple as that (so don't put it off). Here's a simple way to help raise awareness and money.
