When you groom your kids to be successful adults, it can be a little nerving to see them decide to take a path that doesn't include college and is all gaming.
This is a very large debate these days, as children and teenagers use their phones for literally everything. So, where do parents go to make sure their kids are being safe? Check out these three apps you can download right now!
Over the past few days we asked you to cast your vote to find out which age it's appropriate to take away the pacifier - and over 100 Central Minnesotans joined in on the conversation! Check out the results here!
My sides were actually a little sore from laughing this morning as we discussed and took calls discussing lies we were told by our parents when we were kids (or lies we tell our kids today). Thanks for all the calls. Funny stuff!
It's back to school week for the kids. For a lot of them it's exciting and scary at the same time. My son started 9th grade, help me with the talk about good and bad decisions.
Ashli's fiancé Dave coaches a Little League team. My daughter is grown and has kids of her own now, but there was a time when I was all idealistic -- and had a list of things, "My kids would never do," (behave that way in public, eat junk food, watch too much TV, etc). Funny to look back. What were your 'My Kid Will Nevers?' Did you cave?
I came across this idea yesterday and had to share because I thought it was brilliant. A foolproof way to get your kids to eagerly do their chores every day. (Yes I said eagerly, and you can thank me later.) Just don't let them know you heard it from me.
