Missing NDSU Student

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that Thomas Bearson’s death is a result of a homicide Bearson was last seen Saturday, September 20th at approximately 3:40 a.m. outside the residence of 824 14thStreet North in Fargo.

Friends and community members have taken to Twitter after the news that a body found in Moorhead is likely that of missing NDSU student Tom Bearson.

Fargo police say the body of what they believe is a North Dakota State University student, missing since Saturday morning, has been found. Fargo Police Chief Keith Ternes says a body matching the description and clothing of Tom Bearson was found around 11:20 this morning during a search in South Moorhead.

Fargo police, several police dogs, and firefighters spent all day yesterday (Monday) searching areas in-and-around the NDSU campus, as well as the Red River for a missing Sartell native. Eighteen-year-old Tommy Bearson was last seen leaving a party near campus early Saturday.
