A clash of top-ten ranked MIAC rivals will take place this afternoon in Collegeville when #6 St. John's (3-0) hosts #4 St. Thomas. The Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-0) host Colorado State in Minneapolis. The St. Cloud State Huskies (1-2) travel to Nebraska to play at Wayne State.

The University of Minnesota says it has signed Tracy Claeys to a three-year contract as head football coach. Claeys succeeds his friend Jerry Kill, who resigned his position on Oct. 28 due to health reasons.
