Sugarland frontwoman-turned-solo-artist Jennifer Nettles has exited her record label, Universal Nashville, the artist announced Aug. 3 in an official statement. She signed with Mercury Nashville, a division of Universal Nashville, with Sugarland in 2004.
We already know that the genre's biggest stars hang out together, like Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, who go fishing regularly. But in addition to their peers, country artists also spend time with celebrities from other walks, like acting.
Jennifer Nettles joined forces with Jennifer Hudson to perform a song called "You Will," which will serve as the new theme song for Oprah's OWN television network. Penned by Diane Warren, the song encourages listeners to boldly pursue their dreams.
Jennifer Nettles is embracing a makeup free look and encouraging other ladies to join her. After posting a makeup-free picture of herself on social media, the Sugarland member received criticism from online bullies who claimed she was nearly unrecognizable without her signature makeup. Rather than being shamed by online commenters, however Nettles chose to take a stand.
Sugarland continue to fight off rumors of a breakup, as they have been since announcing their solo ventures. Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush maintain they're not broken up as a duo, but when asked about a future tour together, they had very different answers.
