Lionsgate will follow in the footsteps of the successful ‘Harry Potter‘ and ‘Twilight‘ franchises by splitting ‘Mockingjay’ — the final story in the ‘Hunger Games‘ trilogy — into two parts.

It's no doubt The Hunger Games was a huge debut. Here are my thoughts on it, but please share yours.

If there’s one group of people ripe for pranking, it’s diehard ‘Hunger Games‘ fans. No one understands this better than comedian Justin Tyler as he trolls rabid fans lined up for the movie’s midnight premiere with questions that have intentionally wrong answers. Hilarity (and more than a little superfan frustration) ensues.

Another week with a single movie opening in wide release, but everyone’s so excited about this one that it may have needed the entire weekend to itself.

Miranda Lambert's new song 'Run Daddy Run' has been leaked online. It features the Pistol Annies and will be heard in the highly anticipated blockbuster 'The Hunger Games'. The movie is in theaters March 23rd. As it turns out Miranda wasn't the only country star who had a song leaked this week off the soundtrack either...

If you haven't read the 'The Hunger Games' trilogy yet, I highly suggest you do. I literally couldn't put the books down they were so amazing. The first movie (based on the first book) is coming to theaters March 23rd 2012. Taylor Swift teamed up with The Civil Wars and recorded this new song "Safe and Sound" for the 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack, check it out.
