2016 has already been a difficult one for music, and it's not over yet. This year we've said a tearful goodbye to several country singers, songwriters and musicians.

I grew up watching movies at the '100 Twin' Drive-In just off 694 in Fridley. Here in St. Cloud it was the '10 Hi' Drive-In (off Highway 10 where Bristow's is today) -- both are long gone. At their peak nearly 80 existed across Minnesota, but that number has shrunk to just six.
