Armistice Day Blizzard

75 years ago today much of Minnesota began November 11th with sunshine and temps in the 50s. The forecast called for colder temps and a few flurries. The forecasters had been dead wrong. By the middle of the day heavy snow was falling across the state -- and in the end, snow drifts reached 20' in some areas, and 49 Minnesotans would lose their life.
