Warm weather through the weekend means more melting ice. So, police officials are giving us the heads up.

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is reminding drivers to stay off Lake Minnetonka, and that the ice is not safe.

On Wednesday, the Sheriff's office reported the car above had fallen through the ice, right next to a "Thin Ice" sign. The driver is okay, but will have to wait 30 days to get the car back, and it will cost roughly $3,600 to get it out of the lake.
