Sure It’s Cold, But I Still Love Minnesota Because _______ .
My parents live in Ham Lake, but have rented a house in Naples, Florida through March; and keep sending me pics like this one, and texts saying it's 88˚ at the beach. (In the NFL that would draw a flag for taunting.) 40-below wind chills can't stop us! Tell us why you still love Minnesota.
Here's what the knuckleheads on the show had to say:
- Pete: The lake, the cabin, the family.
- Cindy: My friends and family are here.
- Jim: Because I don't know any better. (And the small town feel.)
- Katie: Summer.
And the responses from everyone in 98 Nation:
- Hanna: No school because it's too cold!
- Shannon: Because we don't have hurricanes, earthquakes, and stuff like that.
- Ryan: Hunting & fishing.
- Shelly: Having four seasons.
- Stuart: Ice fishing
- Tony: Well, not because the Vikings, Wild, Twins, or Timberwolves!!!
- Hillary: Minnesota nice.
- Sully: The variety of weather & seasons.
- Ed: Minnesota has the best VA system & facilities.
- Lauren: The Mall of America!
- Jim: 'Cause it's home.
- Amber: The four seasons & the beauty of nature.
- Lisa: The cold is only temporary. The rest of the time its beautiful.
- John: Golf Season is always "just around the corner!"
- Sandy: The four seasons that give us potential for so many hobbies and fun adventures!
