On Sunday, August 28th at 11 am, join me for the Sunday Morning Country Classic Spotlight as we feature Clint Black.

We take that weekly trip down memory lane starting at 9 am with the Country Classic Radio Show at 98.1 FM Minnesota’s New Country, online and on your mobile device.

Clint Black was born in New Jersey and raised in Huston, Texas.  In 1989, he had his debut album "Killing Time." The album received glowing commercial success.  “A Better Man” and “Killing Time” reached number one on the country singles chart.

Black met TV personality Lisa Hartman in early 1991 and they married in October of 1991.  Black and Hartman welcomed their only child, Lily Pearl Black in May of 2001.  They have lived in Nashville, Tennessee since 2002.

Black has worked in film and made a cameo appearance in the 1994 movie, “Maverick” and has done television work on various reality shows.

Black has worn many hats -- singer, songwriter, musician, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and actor.  He’s been active from 1983 to the present day, a man of many talents.
