I got to go to the  Class AA Girls Hockey State Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul last night. The Storm'n Sabres lost against Hill-Murray with a final score of 5-0.

It's the first time in Sauk Rapid's Rice and Sartell team history that the girls have made it to state. Fans were super excited to cheer on the Storm'n Sabres! Many students brought hand-made signs, news paper clippings and sported the team colors to cheer on the Storm'n Sabres!

Check out the photo gallery that we put together! The girls will go head to head with Lakeville South on Friday at noon at Ridder Arena, Minneapolis. Good job this season, Storm'n Sabres! You've made central Minnesota proud.
