State Fair Attendance Tops 2-Million for First Time Ever
The 2018 Minnesota State Fair set a new overall attendance record, breaking the two-million visitor mark for the first time in Fair history -- with a twelve day total of 2,047,533.
The previous overall record of 1,997,320 was set last year.
In addition to the new overall attendance record, the 2018 State Fair also set a new all-time single day attendance record, with a total of 270,426 visitors coming through the gate this past Saturday.
Four more attendance records were set in 2018, breaking the admission records for Day 1 (122,695), Day 3 (222,194), Day 7 (144,940), and Day 7 (156,764).
The 2019 Minnesota Sate Fair is scheduled for August 22nd through September 2nd.
