St. Johns and St. Bens Each Win Sixth Straight Game

The St. John’s hoops squad ran it’s winning streak to six with a narrow 59-57 victory over Gustavus on Saturday night. Chris Orgas made a pair of free throws with under three seconds left in regulation to seal the win. The Johnnies are now 9-10 on the season and 8-6 in conference play.

St. Ben’s won their sixth straight on the hardwood as well on Saturday with a tight win of their own. The Blazers topped the Gusties 68-66 and improve to 14-4 overall and 12-3 in conference play.
