ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud police are looking for two men who robbed a hotel last night.

The incident happened at about 11:40 p.m. in the 500 Block of Highway 10 South at Americas Best Value Inn and Suites.

St. Cloud Assistant Police Chief Jeff Oxton says the suspect entered the business, confronted an employee, pointed a black handgun at him and demanded money.

Video surveillance shows a second suspect also entering the store just prior to the robbery and propping open a back door where the suspect with the gun eventually enters.

The first suspect is described as a black man in his mid-twenties to mid-thirties, about 6-feet tall, weighing 180 pounds and wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, dark baggie jeans, black shoes, with a black bandanna covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a white man in his mid-twenties wearing jeans, a black t-shirt and a black hat.

No one was hurt but the suspects did take an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the business.

Responding officers set up a perimeter and the Waite Park police department K9 unit attempted to track the suspects but were unsuccessful.

Oxton says the investigation is active and anyone with information is asked to call the St. Cloud police department at 320-251-1200 or Tri-County Crime Stoppers 320-255-1301.
