St. Cloud Makes List of ’50 Best Small College Towns in America

Having gone to school here in St. Cloud, I would say the city definitely deserves a spot on this list!

College Values Online put together this list and their researchers looked at a variety of different factors such as the cost of living, unemployment rates, crime rates and the "wow" factor.  St. Cloud wows me every single day, so I'm guessing they scored well there.

As far as ranking, St. Cloud came in at #49 and put us in that spot because of the amount of parks we have, the nightlife and the fact that we are located in a quaint area along the Mississippi River.  The cost of living is also fairly low which makes St. Cloud even more attractive to prospective students.  On top of that, St. Cloud is home to a few different colleges so there is something for everyone.

Mankato also made the list, coming in at #33 and Laramie, Wyoming took the top spot. Check out the full list here.
