Solve a mystery with Nancy Drew, explore the world of Hogwarts along side Harry Potter or go on an adventure with Tom Sawyer, you can do them all beginning Tuesday.

The winter reading program at the St. Cloud Public Library begins Tuesday and goes through February 28. This year's theme is Escape the Ordinary you are encouraged to read something new, a different genre than you'd typically grab off the shelf.

You can register for the program at any Great River Regional branch library or online on at griver.org. You must be in at least the 6th grade to register. When you register you will be given a drawing slip to record which books you have read. For every five books read you can turn in your slip and be entered for a chance to win a gift card or a reading program mug.

A winter reading trivia contest will also be held on January 21. You play online, on the library's website, griver.org. The contest begins at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 4:50 p.m. New questions are posted every ten minutes. To register visit the library's website by clicking here.
