Minnesota, and specifically Target Field, will be in the national spotlight tonight as Minneapolis plays host to the 2014 MLB All-Star Game. Twins players Kurt Suzuki and Glen Perkins will be in the line-up, despite being left off the starting roster. The first pitch will be thrown at 7 PM CT on FOX.

The starting pitchers were announced yesterday. Seattle's Felix Hernandez will take the ball for the American League, with Adam Wainwright of St. Louis getting the nod for the National League. Yankees short-stop Derek Jeter, playing in his final year, will lead off for the AL, and Pirates center-fielder Andrew McCutchen will be at the top of the NL order.

Weather is also stealing some of the attention, as it often does in Minnesota. Game time temps are expected to be in the mid to low 60s tonight, dropping in to the 50s during the game.

The Minnesota Twins (44-50) resume action following the All-Star break at Target Field this weekend with a three-game series Friday, Saturday, and Sunday against the Tampa Ray Rays (44-53).
