The National Weather Service says we could see a few inches of snow across Central Minnesota Wednesday night and Thursday -- along with moderating temperatures, but they won't last long as we head back to the deep freeze to ring in the new year.

Here in St. Cloud we're about 6-inches below average for snowfall so far this season.
