ST. CLOUD -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is reminding you to make having a sober ride a holiday tradition.

Law enforcement agencies around the state are starting an extra DWI enforcement campaign Wednesday and continues every weekend through the end of the holiday season.

With funding from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration officers, deputies and troopers from more than 300 agencies will be working overtime to help with the extra enforcement.

Over the last five years, drunk drivers killed 27 people on Minnesota roads.
