Severe Weather Possible Tonight Across Central Minnesota

Memorial Day is off to a nice weather start across Central Minnesota, but a few showers and storms could pop up later in the day. The threat for heavy rain, hail, and strong to severe storms is possible overnight tonight across the area.

From the National Weather Service this morning: Scattered thunderstorms will spread east across southern Minnesota into western Minnesota today. An organized area of thunderstorms will move east across the Dakotas and southern Minnesota tonight. A few severe storms with large hail, damaging wind gusts and locally heavy rain are possible over southern Minnesota tonight.
