The National Weather Service has upgraded tonight's severe weather threat across central Minnesota. Damaging winds, large hail, heavy rainfall, and a few tornadoes will be possible.

Tree and power-line damage, and possibly some structural damage if this system ends up being higher end.

From the National Weather Service this afternoon: Strong to severe thunderstorms will move into northwest/west central Minnesota this evening, and spread into western Wisconsin around midnight. Damaging winds and large hail are the main threats. Locally heavy rainfall and a couple tornadoes are also possible.
