From the National Weather Service this morning:  Today will be the hottest of the year, along with an enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms. Large hail and damaging wind are the main severe weather hazards expected this afternoon and evening. Drink plenty of fluids if planning to be outside today, and pay attention to the sky and make sure you are able to receive warnings.
