Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For St. Cloud Area

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until Midnight tonight for west central Minnesota, including St. Cloud, Willmar, Morris, and Fergus Falls. Stay tuned to 98 Country for possible severe weather warnings.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means that conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms, producing large hail, heavy rain, frequent lightning, damaging winds, and an occasional tornado.
