Following their series opening 4-1 win win Friday night, the #3 St. Cloud State Men's Hockey team (4-0-0) beat Northern Michigan again, 5-0 Saturday night in St. Cloud

The Huskies picked up goals Friday night from Jake Whalin (1) in the first period, Easton Brodzinski (2) and Ryan Poehling (1) in the second, and another from Sam Hentges (1) in the third. SCSU outshot the Wildcats 33-21 as Husky goalie David Hrenak made 20 saves.

On Saturday night goals for SCSU came from Patrick Newell (4), Jimmy Schuldt (1), Easton Brodzinski (3), Kevin Fitzgerald (2), and Jacob Benson (2). The Huskies out shot the Wildcats 31-10, with Jeff Smith in the net for SCSU getting the first shutout of the season..
