You're invited to join the Sauk Rapids Sportsmen’s Club on their 7th Annual Youth Day at the Range for kids of all ages -- this Saturday, September 12th beginning at 9 AM. Whether your kids are just learning to shoot, or would like some tips to make them a better shot, all skill levels are welcome (and it's free).

That's right, kids 17 & under shoot free (and that includes free lunch)! No previous shooting experience, and no firearms certificate required. All fees and ammunition are included. Eye and ear protection is required and will also be provided.

The day will start at 9 AM rain or shine -- with instructional sessions at 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, and 1:30. Instructors will be available for all shooters.

Safety first! All participants must sign a liability waiver prior to entering the shooting area. Range rules will be posted and all firearms and safety equipment will be inspected prior to entering the shooting area. No minors will be allowed to handle ammunition.

For the Adults: Shoot a round with your kid at discounted rates. You must sign in and pay at the registration booth to receive the discount. Adults are required to be present while the kids are shooting.

Parents are encouraged to sign up in advance. Pre-registered kids will shoot first. All others will shoot in the order they arrive. For more information and to sign up, call or text Jeff Diehl at 320-266-8588 (leave your name and number), or e-mail jjdiehl63@msn.com.
