I LOVE reading the Sartell Police Department blotter. It's my not-so-secret obsession! I started reading them when I noticed a trend...most of the stories were endearing, light hearted and sometimes hilarious. It never seems to disappoint either! Check out some of these incidents from November 18-24th!

Wednesday, November 18th:

Something about this story is just adorable! But, it turns out the man wasn't confused because he knew exactly where he was headed...HOME! Doesn't this story scream 1950's suburb?

3:26 pm.  A report was made regarding an elderly male walking in the area and appearing confused. The officer was aware of him and knew he liked walking and lived in the area. The officer spoke with the male and he stated that he was on his way home.

First of all, what were they doing that seemed suspicious? Waiting for their moms. Oh, makes sense. That's a likely story.

4:42 pm. 7th Street North. Suspicious Activity. A complaint was made regarding juveniles acting suspicious. An officer located the juveniles and found they were waiting for their mother’s to pick them up. Nothing suspicious found.

Friday, November 20:

Be careful where you park your car in Sartell...even if it's at your place of business. Someone might report you.

9:40 pm. 2nd Street South. Suspicious Vehicle. While on patrol, an officer located a vehicle parked behind a closed business with construction. It was found that the vehicle belonged to an employee, no further action was taken.

If you're a teenager parked somewhere you shouldn't be, look out! I'm glad they didn't elaborate any further with this one...AWKWARD.

11:48 pm. Pinecone Road South. Suspicious Vehicle. While on patrol, an officer located an occupied vehicle parked behind a closed business. A juvenile male and female were located inside the vehicle. Both of their parents were notified of the officer’s findings and were told to go home for the evening.

These were just some of my favorites! Check out the full blotter on their Facebook page! Keep being you, Sartell!
