The Rox lost a pivotal game against Waterloo by a 4-3 final score Thursday night at Joe Faber Field. St. Cloud falls to three games out of first place with just nine games left in the season.

Waterloo scored a pair of runs in the top of the first inning, but St. Cloud scored a run in each of the second and third innings to tie the game.

The Bucks pulled away for good two more runs in the top of the fifth inning.

Mitchell Kranson had a solo home run and a pair of runs batted in to highlight the Rox offense, which pounded out ten hits in the loss but left nine runners on base.

St. Cloud falls to sixth place with the loss and now stand at 14-14 on the season, three games behind the Bucks for first place. The Rox host Waterloo again tonight at Joe Faber Field.
