The Rox split a doubleheader with the Buck s in Waterloo Monday night. St. Cloud took game one 4-3 but dropped game two 5-2.

The Rox scored three runs in the first inning in game one to pace the win. Clay Ardeeser singled home Morgan Phillips for the fourth run of the game in the top of the second inning, which would prove to be the winning run.

Ardeeser finished game one 2-4 with that RBI, and starter Kenny Anderson picked up the win with seven innings of three-run, five hit ball for St. Cloud.

The Rox managed only one hit  in game two but drew six walks off of Bucks pitching to take a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the sixth inning before the Bucks broke out for four runs in the inning.

Ardeeser had the lone hit for St. Cloud in game two.

The Rox host the Blue Anchors Tuesday night at Joe Faber Field.
