St. Cloud Rox are moving on in the Northwoods League Playoffs after defeating the Rochester Honkers 4-0 last night at the Rock Pile. The playoff win is the first in Rox history for the team. St. Cloud will play the Duluth Huskies tonight at 7:05 at the Rock Pile in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud native Reese Gregory threw a complete game shutout for the Rox. In his first playoff appearance, Gregory struck out 10 batters and only allowed three hits. St. Cloud capitalized on two wild pitches to score their first two runs. Marcus Carson scored on one in the fourth inning and Brett Pope scored on the second one in the fifth inning. In the fifth inning Lee Miller worked a 0-2 count to a full count then he drove the next pitch over the right field wall for a two-run home run.

The Rox are on a nine game winning streak and an 11 home game winning streak.
